The "Classic Inca trail to Machu Picchu" is considered to be one of the 10 best hikes in the world. With the diverse ecology of the Andean heights and the cloud forest, as well as the beautiful archeological sites on the way it is without doubt worthy of that reputation.During this 4 day adventure we have a team of professional bilingual guides, cooks and porters accompanying us and we will rest in comfortable camping sites.

Our final destination is the majestic and mysterious "Machu Picchu", which surprises its visitors with its incomparable architectural beauty and strategic location. Here if you prefer, you can have an extra day to explore before returning to Cusco.
This is a unique experience that we should all live at least once in a life time.

Day 1:
CUSCO - KM 82 - HUAYLLABAMBA

Early in the morning the bus will take us to the departure point at Km 82 from where we will follow the Urubamba River until we reach the first archeological site"Llaqtapata" (2650 mts ). After lunch and a rest we will continue deeper into the Valley, until reaching the last populated village "Huayllabamba" (3000 mts) where we will set up camp.

Day 2:
HUAYLLABAMBA - PACASMAYO
We will spend the morning hiking up to the first pass "Warmiwañusca" (4200 mts). From this point we descend for approx. 2 hours to the valley until we reach our second camping area "Pacasmayo".

This will be the most varied day. We begin in the morning ascending our second pass "Runcuracay" (3900 mts) and then descend for two hours towards the archeological site of "Sayacmarca". After exploring it, we continue on the original Inca path through semi tropical cloud forest until we reach the third pass "Phuyupatamarca" (3580 mts).
